Rudy and Rosie's Good Eats
This is my Dog Biscuit Company. I started Rudy and Rosie's Good Eats in 2001, in a quest to make treats that were natural and mostly organic. It seemed like the trend toward healthy ingredients in our diets was not making it into the canine world. Jean at Jefferson Market was very supportive and encouraged me to make the product.
Not only are the biscuits good for a dog, the dogs love them! My market research has been limited, but is worth divulging. Picture my teenage exchange student at the time, Michelle, holding one of my biscuits in one hand, a storebought big name biscuit in the other, and me releasing Rosie to see where she'd go first. She always chose my biscuit.
Actually, the feedback from customers is very positive. Even finicky dogs like them. Why? I think it's because they have the best human grade ingredients in them. I think dogs think they are getting human food. I've eaten them..my favorite is the Carob Sunflower Seed. Warning: They are on the dry side!
The biscuits are available in a small biscuit, by the 12 oz. bag, and also a large single biscuit with a label wrapped around the middle.
